In its current multidisciplinary structure and legal form, the firm was founded in 1995. However, its origins date back to the end of the 19th century when the great-grandfather of two of the current partners began to practice as a lawyer. Thereafter, several generations of lawyers have seamlessly been following the family tradition dedicated to the field of law.
Taking up this extensive tradition of legal advice starting in the 19th century, our firm has evolved to encompass other variables that are considered pertinent in an industrialised and globalised world. Indeed, over time, matters of a tax-related, financial and economic nature have been gaining increasing importance, until they have become an important part of the decisions that all clients must make. Those who provide advice cannot be ignorant of the bearing that taxes, for example, have on any legal transaction or dealing, or even on any potential conflict resolution.
Upon realising this, our firm evolved during the 1980s in order to cease having a strictly legal focus to incorporate professionals from the economic and tax-related spheres into our ranks, who could supplement the vision of the firm’s lawyers, providing much more depth to the advice and solutions that we offer.
The firm is currently directed by the lawyers Jordi Blasco and Víctor Blasco and the economist Antoni Sellarès. Today, fourteen professionals from the law, taxation and business fields work at ArsLegal from this broad, integrated perspective. We are proud that our clients consider us, using a common Anglo-Saxon expression, as a “business-oriented” legal and tax services firm and we are minded to creating long-standing professional – and personal – relationships with a large proportion of our clients.
